I got this News flash some weeks before, not more than a month ago, I knew I had witnessed such a thing before so I was full of anticipation and expectation.

• Anticipation of the fact that I know it will be a reality.
• Expectation to the fact that I will be a partaker of it.
• God been willing, neither my anticipation and expectation was cut short rather, the result out ways my expectation.

The first News was brought to my notice during a Sabbath Worship News time at Seventh-day Adventist Church Rumueme, a Branch Sabbath School of Rumuepirikom District.
With such great news, my heart was gladdened and my expectation and anticipation was firmly established after the next week's Sabbath Worship News at that same venue.

According to the first and second Sabbath Worship News, “April 20, 2024 has been slated for the distribution of the book “Great Controversy” in all our churches in PHWM (Port-Harcourt West Mission) We encourage all our churches to be part of this campaign. Let us scatter this book like autumn leaves in the streets of Port Harcourt, everywhere around our territory, and far beyond.”

Is that not great news that should gladden your heart? It won't be a surprise to me if your answer is no!. Your No only means you didn't see what I saw in that News.

Let me share with you the few things I saw in that news that made it great news to me.

1. A day for a special book distribution.
2. The name of the book is “The Great Controversy”
3. This book is to be distributed like autumn leaves in the streets of Port Harcourt, everywhere around our territory, and far beyond.”
4. By all the churches that made up the 16 Districts in Port-Harcourt West Mission.

Indeed it is great News.

A DAY: any activity that goes with the tag “a day” is always special and must be peculiar. It is becoming rare that individuals and organizations no longer let out peculiar moments for special activities in their life. If I may ask, how often do you set aside “a day” for peculiar activities like fasting and prayers, Charity and Welfare?

Seeing that the Seventh-day Adventist Church made this pronouncement gave me joy.

The Great Controversy: This book is a unique book with mysteries revealed. You may want to say that they are not the only religious organization that have gone for street book distributions in the history of Port-Harcourt. I will agree with you to that fact but have you asked yourself? What type of books were distributed on those accounts, probably monthly daily devotional notes and those alike.

It is good that you will own a copy of this book to fully understand the type of book we are talking about.

The Great Controversy is a unique book with mysteries revealed. It is a book with not less than 41 Chapters and 570 pages. A book with no expectation date unlike the regularly distributed notes by other organisations. The Great Controversy is a long time (Ages) published prophetic book that will never lose its value till Christ’s Second coming.

To be distributed like autumn leaves in the streets: Autumn leaves in this case depict colorfulness, visibility and noticeability. Will it not be a thing of joy to you seeing that this number of people will distribute a book of such value to such a great population as the inhabitants of Port-Harcourt? Have you wondered how much a copy of this book will cost? Have you wondered how many copies will be distributed to bring about such a colorful, visible and noticeable outcome to be compared to the autumn leaves? Mind you this is 2024,the leadership of Bola Ahmed Tinubu just immediately, after the leadership of Muhammadu Buhari.

It truly gladdened my heart seeing that both men and women including children will be going out for such impact despite the fact that some amongst them may not have had what to eat that day when counting on the economic situation of the country but still count it joy to be a distributor of this life transforming book.

Port-Harcourt West Mission: it gives me joy seeing that the Port-Harcourt West Mission of the Seventh-day Adventist Church never hold unto that fact that it is not been up to a year when it was birthed from the Port-Harcourt Conference and just been inaugurated few months ago to function as a Mission, rather it counted it as joy to keep and hold unto the faith and habit of the distribution of a book every year to the inhabitants of its mission field.

Without relenting on this course, the News went into circulation on Friday evening as a reminder to its members for Adequate preparation of no excuse.

Following the circular was a letter to be shared with friends and contact list with an attachment of a soft copy of "The Great Controversy".

And the letter reads:
